Exquisitely refurbished for the Food Festival, this gem of a restaurant is as carefully decorated as its famous dishes, with an eye to colour and texture. With a distinct touch of nouvelle cuisine, the delightful presentation of varied and exciting dishes is a hallmark of Le Raj. A special menu is being prepared for The True Heritage Cuisine of Bangladesh, including a newly created Le Raj dish, The Kacchi Raj, fillet of lamb with organic highland Kali Jeera (special rice), mawa (cheese), saffron, and a spiced, combined cooking process using a copper pot, over a wood fire in the traditional way, as well as a Millennium Massalla. The Real Curry Restaurant Guide 1999, the industry's highly prestigious barometer of all that's best in curry, has once again awarded the highest possible Five Domes rating to Le Raj. Other awards for the restaurant include two AA Rosettes for the fifth year running, and the 'Best Food' in the Curry Section of the London Docklands Good Food Awards.
